Career Path: Courses You can choose after 12th Commerce

As board results are declared many of you have decided which course you will be opting to make your career in desired field. But many students are still not have decided or are confused between various courses about what they can do after doing particular course.

Courses After 12th Commerce

In this article we will be telling you about the under graduate courses which you can opt after passing out your 12th class in commerce streams.

1. Chartered Accountant: One of the major streamlined course and career path among the commerce students. For this course you have to clear the CA CPT exam. Registration for the Exam starts in April. Basic eligibility for the exam is pass class 12 from recognised board.

2. Company Secretary: This is considered similar to CA but it has more of legal corporate work. For this course. Class 12th pass can opt the foundation course for CS.

3. B.Com/B.Com (Hons.): Another famous course which commerce students choose. There are many reputed colleges for this course and Delhi University is considered to be best. Admission for the course will start in May and June every year. Here is the list of colleges you can consider for this course:

After pursuing B.Com - You can pursue MBA, CA, CS, CFA, Business Development, Business Analyst, Lawyer as your career. 

4. BBA: It is a management course which will teach you basic of managing task and resources. It can be done in various specialisations. Best colleges to be consider for the admission in BBA courses are Christ University, GGSIPU, NMIMS, Loyola College Chennai, KJ Somaiya college of Arts and Commerce, Banaras Hindu University. You have to appear for entrance exams for taking admission popular entrance exams are IPUCET, NPAT, BHU UET, AIMA UGAT etc. Application for the BBA will be available in month of April and May for various colleges.

After that you can go for further studies in MBA and LLB (For Lawyer).

5. BCA: It stands for Bachelor of Computer Application. This course will give you exposure to computer and various programming languages. It is somewhat similar to engineering in computer science/IT. Basic eligibility of admission in BCA in various college is pass with required percentage in class 12th with Maths and English as main subjects. Here is the list of top colleges for BCA in India:

Students needs to appear in various entrance test conducted by University, College or association for admission in those colleges. 6. B.Arch: Bachelor of Architecture is 5 year course which gives technical exposure for becoming an Architect. Basic Eligibility for B.Arch is atleast 50% marks in Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject. Students needs to appear for NATA entrance exam. Since every Architecture college consider NATA score for admission. Top Colleges for the B.Arch are:

7. D. Ed: Diploma in Education is a diploma course designed for the training of primary teachers. Top colleges for D.Ed are GGSIPU, Jamia Millia University, BHU, IFCAI, etc. 

8. BJMC: It stands for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication. Anybody who wants to pursue their career in Mass communication and journalism can go for this course. It is 3 year degree course. Basic eligibility for this course is class 12th from recognised board or equivalent. Top colleges of BJMC are Jamia Millia Islamia, GGSIPU, Xavier Institute of Communication, IIMC Delhi, Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication. 

9. B.Voc: It is skill oriented courses for the students making them industry ready for the jobs. Basic Eligibility for the course is just pass in class 12th or equivalent. Top Colleges for B.Voc are GGSIPU, Ambedkar University Delhi, St. Xavier's Mumbai, St. Xaviers Ranchi, etc.  

10. B.Sc (Economics/Mathematics/Statistics): Candidates can opt for B.Sc in Economics and B.Sc Mathematics for graduation. Both courses have 3 years duration. 

Basic Eligibility for B.Sc Economics/Mathematics/Statistics is class 12th with Mathematics and English as main subjects. 
Top Colleges for B.Sc courses is Delhi university, BHU, Christ University, St. Xaviers Kolkata, Presidency University Kolkata, St. Xavier Mumbai. 

Application for such courses will be available in April - May. 

11. B.Stat - Bachaler of Statistics is 3 years course which is provided by ISI Kolkata. For this candidate needs to appear for the entrance test conducted by institute. Applications for the same is available from February till March.
