DU Admission 2019 to be Postponed due to changes in Admission Process

Delhi university to postponed the admission dates. As stated earlier DU was going to start its process from April 15 to May 7. But now the admission process is going to be delayed due to some more changes are need to be incorporated in the admission process.

Mr. Rajeev Gupta, Dean of Students Welfare informed the news sources that the DU admission process will be delayed as the preparation are still going on. He said "We will have to extend the dates as our preparation is still on. We are working on the admission schedule”. On asking about the delay he responded, “There are a lot of changes we are proposing which require a lot of change in our existing software norms.”

The DU admission committee announced some changes earlier this year which are deduction of marks 2-5% on the stream change and delinking sports quota and ECA seats. Mr. Gupta also said  about Sports and ECA seats that these seats are supernumerary in nature. There admission not required the cutoff list. Why wait for the cutoff list announcement. There are dependent on trails therefore the trails will be started early.
