Beat Exam Stress with these Helpful Tips

It is that time of the year, when “Panic” starts to set in. With less than a month left for exams, many of you might have already started to feel the anxiety over exams and would be wondering how to deal with this anxiety and stress. So, here we will give you some tips which will help you prepare well for the upcoming period.

1.Take regular breaks.

Even the most intense exams timetable will allow you  a little time for a study break. This can include a 20-30 minute break for a walk outside or a quick meet with your friends. Plan any thing during this break that will take your mind off the exams. Spending a little time away from your books will leave you refreshed and more relaxed the next time you start studying.

2. Daydream

Take some time out from your books and plan that trip that you are going to have, once your exams are finished or all the parties or events that you are going to attend with your friends. It will take your mind off from books and will leave you relaxed.

3. Exercise and get outdoors

Step out in the fresh air and just take a walk or a run with your earphones on and listen to your favourite playlist. This will not only keep you healthy but will also boost your mood and will make you more productive the next time you start studying.

4. Phone a buddy

If the stress gets to a point where it is affecting you a lot, then just call your BFF and rant about all the exam stress or you can just talk to someone who will make you laugh. It will be simple and pleasant distraction, just don’t get distracted for too long!

5. Catch up on internet

If nothing works, then web can come to your rescue. Catch up on interesting web articles or memes in that case that you missed or give your favourite web series a quick peek. Doing this will surely pep you up!
